Restaurant Rambling: Snow Ono Shave Ice (Las Vegas, Nevada)

While visiting my brother and his family in Las Vegas, they decided to get shave ice. If you're from Hawaii, you know the know what "real" shave ice tastes like. "Real" shave ice is finely shaved so that the ice melts on your tongue.

They took me to a roaming shave ice bus called, Snow Ono. Their locations vary at different times of day. Check here for their schedule. Snow Ono has delicious shave ice. Just like Hawaii!!
I got a small shave ice with guava, lilikoi and mango syrups. They even have add-ons like snow cap (condensed cream top), li hing mui powder, sour spray, vanilla ice cream, and more. Mmmm...delicious!

Looks divine! My summer treat/indulgence is water ice (how it's referred to in Philadelphia) or Italian ice (what the rest of the country knows it as).

Looks very tempting especially since it's very hot here in my place!
Anyway thanks for dropping by!

Yum!!! I would love it with the snow cap!

My favorite summer drink is red bean with shaved ice. They must make it with something creamy on top - maybe the condensed milk...

wendy-I usually get the li hing powder on top and the vanilla ice cream on the bottom. But the red bean or azuki is yummy too!!
