**What the heck?? Okay I think this post was swallowed by the blogger universe. Reposting cause the original is somehow gone**
Here's photos of what's growing in my dad's yard. I'm jealous of all the sweet smelling flowers he has around. Most of these are tropical flowers.

They're all gorgeous but my favorite would have to be the African Blue Lilly.
The first time we stayed on Kauai my wife fell in love with the African Lilies or Agapanthus. When we got back to Portland I researched them and found they grow well here, so have had them growing in the garden ever since.
the red headed traveler: We've had these growing at our house for as long as I can remember. I love they way they look.
doc: I'm glad you were able to grow some back home. They're really nice because they require very little care.
Fun to see tropical flowers here in PA, US.
I love your African Blue Lily - (we call them Agapanthus here). I can't wait for mine to bloom again. I've enjoyed my walk in your garden :)
Carolyn: That's cool that tropicals grow in PA!
Christine: As long as I remember, we've had them at the house here on Kauai. I hope yours blooms soon!!
I love the agapanthus... I've tried them her without much success even with wintering them inside... L
