Kudos to Delta

It's rare that anyone blogs about good customer service anymore but we're quick to hear about awful service. I rarely blog about either but this was an exception to the rule. I recently purchased an international plane ticket from delta.com. I got an email today alerting me to a sale on Delta flights. Out of curiosity, I looked at the flight I had just purchased to see if there was a price difference. Believe it or not, it was $200 cheaper!!


I looked over my purchase and noticed the ticket I bought was non-refundable. I called Delta just to inquire. The gal on the other side told me that there is a $250 charge to change an international flight. The $200 savings wouldn't be worth it. She said she couldn't issue a refund but would give me the $200 in flight credit on my next purchase. Score!

In the age of price increases and having to pay for everything from bags to creature comforts on the flight, Delta has made me proud. Thank you Delta!! You rock!!
