Restaurant Rambling: Lippert's (Sequim, WA)

We were staying in Port Angeles for 2 nights. On the way there off of Hwy 101, we stopped at Lipperts' in Sequim, WA for lunch.

The restaurant was an old church. It is now owned by Barbara and Michael Lippert.
Barbara was busy fixing sandwiches in the kitchen on the day we stopped in. Michael came by and chatted with us. He was very nice and friendly. Their son is the chef at night and the restaurant turns into a more fine dining experience.
The lunch menu features sandwiches, homemade soups and salads. Barbara makes the bread in-house. I tried the Panini for $6.99 (roma tomatoes, basil, mozzarella cheese, sun-dried tomato & garlic pesto sauce on panini bread, grilled to perfection). It was quite good.
Desserts are also made in-house. Be sure to save room for the delicious Chocolate/Peanut Butter Lush. It was very delicious!!
The apple pie is also quite tasty!

If you're ever in Sequim, stop by Lipperts'. Aside from the great sandwiches and delicious desserts, the owners make this place even better!
